Wisconsin Internet Personality and Glow House star, Zuza Beine

Zuza, the youngest member of The Glow House, a Los Angeles–based content creator collective, touched countless lives both online and offline with her honesty, creativity, and spirit of resilience.

Diagnosed with AML at just three years old, Zuza endured 11 of her 14 years living with cancer. Despite the relentless challenges of her illness, she embraced life with extraordinary courage, gratitude, and joy.

Her journey became a source of inspiration to many, as she used her platform to raise awareness about chronic illnesses while also sharing beauty, humor, and moments of lightness that brought comfort to her followers.

Through her work with The Glow House, Zuza helped create a space that emphasized positivity, empowerment, and authenticity. Her content—often “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) videos, beauty tutorials, and candid reflections on her cancer journey—provided not only entertainment but also hope and solidarity for other young people facing difficult circumstances.

Her family shared in a heartfelt statement:

“It is with broken hearts that we share that Zuza died yesterday morning. She lived 11 of her 14 years with a relentless cancer, yet lived more fully and gratefully than most. Her being changed us forever, and her dying will too. It is no coincidence to us that the last video she made captures what she was grateful for—a testament to a life filled with both beauty and suffering. More than anything, she wanted to be a normal, healthy kid. But what made her life so beautiful was how she learned to face the hardest circumstances, like her disease, and still live fully.”

Zuza’s story resonated deeply with her followers and with families navigating similar health struggles. She became an advocate for children with chronic illnesses, reminding the world that even in the midst of hardship, there is space for laughter, creativity, and connection. Her openness about her journey fostered understanding, compassion, and a sense of community for those who often felt unseen.

Beyond her role as a content creator, Zuza was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Her warmth, humor, and honesty created bonds that will remain cherished by those who knew her personally and those who came to love her through her videos. She had an extraordinary ability to make people feel less alone, and that gift will endure long after her passing.

In lieu of flowers, Zuza’s family has asked that donations be directed toward her recently deceased uncle’s wife and children—an act that reflects Zuza’s lifelong concern for others and her desire to give back even in death.
