Florida State University football freshman Ethan Pritchard was reportedly shot and hospitalized late Sunday night, according to multiple sources.
The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a shooting occurred near the Havana Heights Apartments at the corner of 16th Street and South Main Street in Havana. Sheriff Morris Young told WCTV that an unidentified man was shot at the location and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
While authorities have not officially released the identity of the victim, multiple reports indicate that Pritchard, a recent addition to the FSU football program, is believed to be the individual injured in the incident.
The extent of Pritchard’s injuries has not yet been disclosed. Law enforcement has not made any public statements regarding suspects or a possible motive.
