State Police have identified the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a Friday night crash in the town of Ontario.
The victim has been confirmed as 19-year-old Jack Axx of Webster. According to authorities, Axx was riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Lake Road when his bike collided with the front passenger side of an eastbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado that was turning left into a driveway.
The driver of the truck, 62-year-old William Ritchie, and his passenger, 63-year-old Steven Crane, were not injured in the accident.
Jack Axx was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by State Police, who continue to gather information to determine the factors that contributed to the fatal collision.
Friends, family, and community members are mourning the loss of a young life cut tragically short.
