In 2010, while serving in Afghanistan, Mike was severely wounded by an improvised explosive device (IED). The attack left him facing unimaginable physical challenges, requiring over 120 surgeries and years of grueling rehabilitation. After surviving his life-threatening injuries, Mike dedicated his “second chance” to helping others.
