On the night of Wednesday, November 26, 2025, a life filled with love, care, and bright dreams was tragically cut short. Kali Crushell West Harris, a 27-year-old mother of four, lost her life in a fatal crash on Interstate 24 East in Marion County, Tennessee.

💔 Who She Was
Kali wasn’t just a name in a headline — she was a devoted mother whose world revolved around her four children. Friends described her as someone who “lit up any room she was in.” She wore many hats: a baker, a cake decorator at “Kwestbaking,” a photographer for “Kali’s Photography,” and — during the holiday season — she had returned to work at FedEx, hoping to create a magical Christmas for her children.
Her dream was simple and beautiful: to give her children everything she never had, to fill their lives with warmth, laughter, treats, and love. She hoped to gift them small joys — an Xbox for some, a big dollhouse for another — because she believed in making every moment count.
The Tragedy
According to investigators, Kali was the sole occupant of the vehicle when it went off the road, struck a guardrail, and overturned near mile marker 159 on I-24 East. The crash forced eastbound traffic to be diverted at Exit 158 as troopers worked the scene.
In that instant, a mother, a dreamer, a giver — someone whose greatest ambition was to care for her children — was taken from this world. Her ambitions, her holiday dreams for her children, her warm heart, all ended far too soon.
A Community Mourns
News of Kali’s passing sparked an outpouring of grief from friends, neighbors, and community members. One friend wrote:
“She was so kind and lit up any room she was in!”
Many recall her welcoming spirit, her generosity, and the joy she brought when she baked cakes or offered her photography services. Her kindness and talent left an imprint on all who had known her.
To Her Children & Family — Our Hearts Are With You
To her four precious children — and to her grieving family, including her mother Jennifer Goodson Webber — we cannot imagine the depth of your pain. Kali gave her life to love you, to hope for better days. Though she’s gone, the love she poured into you remains eternal.
May you find strength in each other, and comfort in the memories she left behind. May you honor her by holding onto her dreams and keeping her spirit alive in your love for one another.
A Life Remembered
Kali Crushell West Harris may have left this world too soon — but she leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and dreams for a better tomorrow. She was more than a statistic. She was a mother, a friend, a dreamer. She was a heart full of light.
Rest in peace, Kali. You will be dearly missed — and fondly remembered — by all who knew and loved you.
