Two individuals were fatally shot overnight on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation in Perrysburg, according to the New York State Police.
The incident took place near 10996 Whites Drive. Authorities issued a temporary shelter-in-place order, which has since been lifted, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office confirmed. Officials believe there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
New York State Police and Seneca Nation Marshals are currently at the scene. Authorities stated that more information will be shared as it becomes available.
